Video Director (Freelance)

Qualifications & Requirements
A qualified candidate:

● Must have studio and field direction experience
● Must have great concept development skills
● Must have storyboard and treatment creation experience
● Must have expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
  •  Adobe Photoshop
  •  Adobe Premiere Pro
  •  Adobe Illustrator
  •  Adobe After Effects
● Must have shooting experience [DSLR and above], and needs to understand:
  •  Focal Lengths
  •  Lenses
  •  3 Point Lighting
  •  Aspect Ratios
  •  Frame Rates
  •  ISO
  •  Aperture
  •  Shutter Speeds
  •  How all of the above are used in combination for certain projects
● Must have experience working with outside editors, clients, and post production
coordinators with a sense of urgency
● Must have a strong understanding of lighting
● Must submit with their resume some storyboarding examples, treatment examples,
and finished video projects for review which they’ve completed

Physical Requirements:

Light Work -
This position may involve lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with infrequent carrying or lifting of an item weighing up to 10 pounds. This position requires a frequent amount of standing and/or walking.

Job Description, Essential Functions and Duties:

We are looking for a freelance Video Director for an upcoming contract. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing large and small crews of people. This individual will be asked to listen and understand a clients’ needs in order to get the video completed to their desire. This individual must be personable with strong client communication skills. Strong scheduling skills are a must. Bi-Lingual skills are a plus. If the contract goes well the individual will be strongly considered for future projects and contracts.
